Easter is one of my favorite holidays because it not only represents the Resurrection of Jesus, it also represents spring and all of it's beauty! Traditionally when you think of an Easter tablescape palette, you think of pastels such as soft pinks and baby blues, and light shades of yellow and green. I don't know about you, but I am so excited Spring is finally here! I'm also excited to celebrate the Easter holiday soon with family and friends. As you know, 2018 Pantone color of the year is Ultra Violet, so you can imagine how delighted I was to receive a box of goodies from SophisitPlate with these beautiful plates inside! I received a mixture of white, purple and green. I played with all the different sized plates, until I came up with the one I loved! Although a monochromatic look is beautiful, I decided to add a hint of green with the gingham plates. Take a look below at how I set this pretty Easter table...

I love reusing items whenever I can, as I have mentioned before, shopping your home can save you time and money. Do you remember the egg cups from this tablescape or what about this one? I adorned each egg cup with two different types of green ribbon, to further pull the color into the tablescape. I love how they look! I am always so excited to use my vintage silver. The pitcher is the perfect "vase" for the lilac stems and I unpacked all my white Easter bunnies and clear candle sticks to create a runner. I tend to collect these cuties, so I have several on hand. Adding flowers {whether fresh or beautiful silk ones} adds a lot to your table, including height! You can have one large arrangement in the middle of the table, like I chose to do here or you can add small blooms to bud vases. I can usually find beautiful flowers at my local grocery or Sam's club stores. So no need to go to the florist and spend a small fortune. Keep it simple, trust me it will save your sanity in the end. 

  

A few of my white bunnies have a place to hold candy or flowers, for this tablescape I chose the mini gold foil chocolate eggs. They would also look so cute with grass and colorful eggs in the color of your tablescape. 

I love place card holders that match my tablescape, so these mini ceramic bunnies were just too cute not to grab last year. One of my sweet friends worked her calligraphy magic for all the place cards.

SETTING A PRETTY EASTER TABLE

Easter Bunny Party Favors

Easter is FOUR days away, but don't stress! We have your back! We are Easter crafting today in the studio, I just had to pop in and share this fun party favor Bunny Tin the kiddos and I made! They are perfect for the kids class or to hand out at your Bunny Brunch or Easter party! 

They are super easy and come out so ADORABLE! 

MATERIALS NEEDED: 

• Small round shaped tin favor box {I picked mine up at Michaels}
• Medium round shaped tin favor box {I ordered these from Hoopla Events}
• White candy or mini marshmallows
• Bunny stickers {found these in the Target Dollar Spot}
• White Pom poms
• Cardstock {pink and white} **Optional
• Glue Stick **Optional

We have a fun treat for you today! Whether you are hosting an Easter party or attending one, you will want these super cute Easter Chick Cupcakes to be in attendance! 

What you will need to make these darling cupcakes: 

• Cake mix of your choice {we used Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge and Yellow}
• White Frosting {our go-to store bought is Betty Crocker Whipped}
• Black Decorating Gel {you could use mini chocolate chips instead}
• Lemon and Orange icing color

Make cupcakes according package instructions. TIP: only fill baking cups half way. An easy way to do this is use an ice cream scoop that measures out 1/3 cup batter when filling regular size cups or one that measures out 2 tablespoons batter when filling mini cups! 

Time to color your frosting, place most of the frosting in a bowl to color yellow for the body of the chick. You will also need to set aside a small amount for the feet and beaks. I used Wilton Lemon Yellow Icing Color for the body.  For the feet/beaks I used Wilton Orange Icing Color. Add as much icing color you need to obtain the color you want. This icing color goes a LONG way with a little bit so be careful not to over do it. 

Once the cupcakes are fully cooled, use my favorite frosting tip A1 to pipe yellow frosting in a circular motion to create the Chick! Add black eyes with the Black Decorating Gel. For the feet and beak of the chick, I used my Wilton 3 piping tip, with the light and dark orange frosting. Now you have the cutest cupcakes at the party!

Super Easy Easter Chick Cupcakes

We have a fun treat for you today! Whether you are hosting an Easter party or attending one, you will want these super cute Easter Chick Cupcakes to be in attendance! 

What you will need to make these darling cupcakes:

Vintage Easter Peter Cottontail Party Tabletop

A few years back, when I was pretty new to styling,  I designed and styled this Vintage Easter Peter Cottontail Party. I get so many requests for it, so I decided I would share it again with you today. I love all the light pink touches of this party.
