I have rounded up a few summer finds from Target for the entire family to wear on the 4th of July!
This swing top is a loose cut. I love the ruffled cap sleeves and comes in pink too.

Hello friends! We spent four of the most glorious days in San Antonio this past week at the Hyatt  Wild Oak Ranch resort, with some of our friends.  If you have never stayed there, you need to continue reading this post, because I promise by the end of it, you will want to go there. This was our fourth trip there in eight years. And it never gets tiresome. This was my view for most of the days.

The lazy river {otherwise known as rattlesnake river} is just so relaxing, all you do is float around in a tube all day long. There's a little bit of shade due to the trees but a lot of sun too. Talk about a family-friendly resort, this is it! There is a sandy beach for the kids to play and build sand castles.

In the morning they played classical soothing music that you would hear at a relaxing spa. During the day they play country music. If you tire of the lazy river, you can head up to the main pool where you will find two water slides and a game of water volleyball. The water in this pool is so comfortable, almost like bathwater.

Each room has a full kitchen with all the accessories. We simply buy groceries at one of the local grocery stores and prepare meals for the week. You don't ever have to leave the resort if you don't want to. They do have a full service restaurant and bar on the premises - JBs. The resort offers a free shuttle to its sister resort the Hyatt Hill Country as well as Sea World.

The resort offers many family opportunities such as golf on the putting green, a nature trail, volleyball, basketball, movie night, Smore's at the Wallflower  Pavilion.

For those that prefer to dine without the children, there are babysitting services available at camp armadillo, where they will entertain the children for a fee. How does princess for the day or superhero for the day sound? I bet the kids would enjoy that!

For a family outing, why not try Sea World? For better rates try to buy your tickets ahead of time or on Groupon. Our kids had the fabulous opportunity to touch and feed a dolphin. They had so much fun! It was so nice to take advantage of the free shuttle service from the resort to Sea World. Front door service at its best.

We were able to take in a few shows while we were there!

As well as a few rides!

We had such a great day at Sea World! I think getting wet was a highlight of the day and our trip!

Early morning river floating with the family!

Not sure where we spent most of our time - at the lazy river or at the main pool playing on the water slides.

The grounds are so beautiful we just had to share these photos of some of the flowers you will see.

This Hibiscus was bigger than both my hands! Crazy!

We were able to take most of these photos early in the morning before everyone got out for the day! I usually took an early morning walk by myself around the premises! What a great way to start the day!

The Icehouse is a small store which carries some baked goods as well as some necessities.

A great sitting area just outside the main registration building!

This little cutie {my little one} greeting everyone as they came into register for their stay!

After we check-out of our room at the Wild Oak Ranch, we went into "town", walked the River Walk and visited The Alamo. As the evening closed my hubby treated us all to a horse drawn carriage ride around the city! Isabella LOVED it!

The weather was perfect as was our vacation! Are you ready to spent some time at Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch? What do you have planned this summer? A stay-cation or a vacation away from home? Where to?

The weather was perfect as was our vacation! Are you ready to spent some time at Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch? What do you have planned this summer? A stay-cation or a vacation away from home? Where to?

Whew! We were in a whirlwind for the last two weeks ~ on Saturday, July 20th we had my daughter's birthday party {Luau Island party ~ more to come on that} then we headed out to Colorado to visit my family, two days later. A last minute trip and the last one for this summer! Can  it really be August already? Hard to believe both of my kiddos will be in school this year! This will give us more time to concentrate on BellaGrey Designs!
The kids are awesome road trippers ~ a 13 hour trip to Colorado is always well worth it! The first night we were there, the kids spent the night with their Aunt and Uncle and cousins!
We made a few little day trips ~ one to Cheyenne, Wyoming for Frontier Days and the Rodeo and one to Estes Park, Colorado! The kids had so much fun!! We attended the morning parade first {I haven't been to Frontier Days since I was a kid and we would walk from my grandparents house to the parade}.

My sweet silly sister doesn't like her photo taken, but you can tell my kiddos are hams and my niece wasn't sure either! :)

Take a look at some of the fun signs we found at the carnival after the rodeo.

Each summer when we go home we always play night putt-putt with all the kids! It's a tradition since I moved from Colorado 12 years ago. My oldest nephew still hangs out with us ~ it's always so much fun.

On Sunday, we met my BFF for lunch down town at Jack N' Grill ~ if you haven't eaten there, you really need too! This smothered burrito was so HUGE and so GOOD!! It was as big as both of my hands put together! YIKES!! They are famous for their 7lb. burrito, which the table next to us full of college boys ordered, so I asked them if I could take a photo! Here it is:

Next to mine! It puts mine to shame!! LOL

It was a little chilly on Sunday morning so we dressed for the weather, but by afternoon it was nice and warm! We had to take at least one family photo from our trip!

And of course, at least one with one cousin is a must!! {You may have seen this one on Instagram}. Do you follow us? If not, we would love for you to follow HERE!

The drive home yesterday morning! Beautiful sunrise! I always cry when I have to say good-bye to my family! I LOVE Dallas, but really, really miss Colorado and my family and friends!!

The kiddos had a great time with their cousins; aunt and uncle and grand parents! And slept most of the way home! We miss everyone already and the kids are ready to go back! School starts in two weeks!

Happy Summer everyone! Hope you had a great one!! Did you travel this summer, if so, where to?
