With winter entertaining season in full swing, it's time to think about holiday sips! Why stick with the same cocktail you have served year after year? Kick it up a notch and serve this delicious Polar Blast! It is super easy to make and very pretty to serve at your next party!

Polar Blast Cocktail

INGRIDENTS

1 part Blue Curacao Liqueur
2 parts Pinnacle Whipped Vodka
1 part lemon lime soda
1 bottle of LaMarca Prosecco

INSTRUCTIONS
Build over ice, stir gently and serve!

I added this cocktail to a clear ornament, inserted a pretty silver foil straw and served! If you want to get a little fancy, like I did, add some colorful mini ornaments to a wine glass, place your cocktail ornament inside and serve. Or you could purchase the clear ornaments with the flat bottoms, so they will stand by themselves.

Hi friends,with school starting I'm always looking for fun easy after-school treats. I am sharing an oh so addictive treat with you today!

I promise you, these Chocolate Dipped Marshmallow Banana Pops will take you approximately 15 minutes to make and even less to gobble up! All you need are three simple ingredients, in fact, I'm almost positive you probably have most of them on hand in your kitchen right now.

Don't let the length of the recipe scare you off from making this delicious treat, it's so worth the time!

Chocolate Dipped Marshmallow Banana Pops
Makes about 12 pops

Ingredients:

3 large ripe bananas
12 regular sized marshmallows {I used Jet Puffed}
10 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips {I used Nestle}
2 tablespoons coconut oil
**Optional ~ your choice of topping, sprinkles, sea salt, edible glitter or granola. These are the toppings I used, but you could definitely do others.
Popsicle sticks

Instructions:

1} Peel bananas and cut each one into fourths.
2} Cut each marshmallow in half **TIP: wet your knife to cut the marshmallow easily
3} Place one half of a marshmallow on the bottom of the banana and the other half on the top of the banana {See Photo below}
4} Insert popsicle stick into both the marshmallows and banana **TIP: wet the popsicle stick before inserting, it will slide easier and not rip your marshmallow
5} Place the marshmallow banana pops on parchment paper and place in freezer for 5 minutes or until they harden
6} While pops are in freezer, mix the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave safe bowl
7} Melt the mixture in microwave for approximately 40 - 55 seconds, making sure the chips don't burn
8} Pull out the pops and dip in melted chocolate. **Chocolate will harden almost immediately
9} Sprinkle your choice of topping
10} Place back into freezer for approximately 3 minutes to fully harden
11} Enjoy!

This Strawberry Champagne Ice Cream Cake is a perfect dessert for any occasion. Red Velvet cake, Champagne and Sweet Cream Ice Cream make up this decadent dessert.One that can be easily re-created at home with your choice of toppings.

I was very excited when this opportunity came my way to work with The Curious Creamery and create an ice cream cake recipe for them.  What is The Curious Creamery you ask? It's a powdered form ice cream cake mix you can fully customize and in 3 easy steps you will have ice cream without an ice cream machine! What's better than a product which has the added benefit of helping reduce their carbon footprint by 90%! All you need is milk, heavy cream, sugar and any mix-ins you would like.

They make two of my favorite flavors, Sweet Cream and German Chocolate and each box makes up to a gallon of Ice Cream Cake. I was very curious about this new product, especially when the box states "no ice cream machine needed!" I headed to my local Walmart and found the Sweet Cream Ice Cream Cake Mix in the Celebration aisle. Picked up fresh fruit and chocolate to garnish the top of my cake. Now I was ready to get started.

I used a red velvet store bought cake mix. Prepared the cake according to instructions, but instead of using water I used champagne. I baked the cake in my 8" spring pan, let it cool and removed from pan. I then prepared the Sweet Cream Ice Cream Cake Mix per the instructions, poured half of the ice cream cake mix into the pan I used to bake my cake, inserted the cake, then added the additional half of the ice cream cake mix on top. Covered the pan with parchment paper and placed in the freezer for 6 hours.

Once the cake was fully frozen, I placed it on a pretty cake pedestal added my toppings and the cake was ready to serve.

I garnished the cake with fresh strawberries, raspberries, sprigs of Thyme, chocolate shavings and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

How would you customize your ice cream cake?

The Curious Creamery is a better way to make ice cream and frozen desserts because you have control of flavor, nutrition and styling. If you can not find The Curious Creamery in your local Walmart, because it is a new product, please feel free to speak with the store manager.
