But it does help to keep my website running. Thank you! The following is based strictly on my honest opinion. I only recommend products and brands I love and use personally.

What movie comes to mind when you think of Halloween? The Sanderson Sisters always gets me in the holiday spirit!  I recently threw this Hocus Pocus Party in celebration of my friends and Halloween!

To set the mood for the party, I designed this invitation!

Additional elements were set up outside to get the attention of my guests! Nothing like 5 witches in a circle around a boiling cauldron or being greeted at the door with chains and a skeleton - EEK!

Once inside, you walk down the long hallway and this is what you'll see, spooky crooked framed art

a crow sitting atop a spell book with black stripped candles and spiders!

Look at all those eyes looking back at you, I had to contain them somehow, so they are trapped in a glass cake pedestal!

Black widow venom and essence of bats breath is only the beginning of what ghoulish sips are bound to be had here!

The inspiration were witches and the color black, of course, so I made everything "witchy and black" including this cute witch silhouette! I simply taped it to the inside of my lampshade! Easy Peasy and such an impact!

Remember the scene where the skeleton band performed and Bette Midler sang "You Put a Spell on Me"? This is where Mr. Funny Bones comes in the party! You may recall seeing him here. He was the life of the party serving up spooky sips! Which poison would you pick?

Floating hats pulled the theme throughout the party. When you host a Hocus Pocus soiree, it is only right to treat your friends to a take home gift such as these Drink up Witches cups!

Every good witch has a wicked broom, which were prominently displayed in the broom parking space!

 For this party, nothing went undecorated, especially my fireplace and mantel! It was totally spookified!

I love coming up with creative names for food! Sometimes it is so much fun! Do you do this for your parties?

{mini carrots}

{cauldron brownies}

{cream cheese caramel dip}

{cucumbers}

{green olives}

{hummus}

{black olives}

{spinach dip}

The food table was nothing short of fabulous with all types of witchy delights! Not sure I can ever look at these foods again and not think about the names! *wink*
