A Christmas Cookie Decorating Party is always so fun to host and be invited too! Let's face it, the adults have as much fun as the kids do ~ or at least I do!
As the month of December always seems to fly by with little to no time to make cookies for "Santa" this party can help with that task. As the little ones create their masterpieces they can take them home and save some for Santa as well.
To host your own cookie decorating party you will need:
Invitation
Pretty Boxes
Shaped Sugar Cookies
Plenty of Sprinkles
Icing
Milk
Table Decor
Don't forget the milk for the kids to drink with their cookies!
The kids had so much fun!
I styled the table with each child in mind. Everything was the traditional green, red and white, but you can choose other fun colors for your theme. As each setting had the guests name on the chair backs along with their own placemats and name tags held in candy cane holders.
The placemats doubled as a party favor they got to take home and their name tags were taped to their cookie boxes!
Can't forget the reindeer!
Make some reindeer food by following this simple recipe:
1/4 Cup Oatmeal
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Sugar Crystals
1/4 Cup Silver Glitter
With our tag that reads:
Sprinkle on your lawn tonight, the moonlight will make it sparkle bright. As the reindeer fly and roam, this will guide them to your home.
Send the kids home with their own cookie box and reindeer food!
