With Summer around the corner and the kids getting out of school, you may find yourself looking for simple snack ideas to share with family and friends. I recently had a girls party and made this fun and very tasty Margarita Chex Mix! What I love about this snack is you can make it alcoholic {hello Tequila} or non, whichever you prefer or is appropriate for your guests.
What you will need:
3 Cups Rice Chex
3 Cups Wheat Chex
2 Cups Pretzel Sticks
1 1/2 Cups Powdered Sugar
10 drops Lime Essential Oil or 3 Tablespoons Lime Juice
1 1/2 Tablespoon Tequila **optional
Place you Chex cereals, pretzels and powdered sugar in a gallon sized bag. Shake the bag really well to get everything coated with the powdered sugar. Once everything is coated, add the Lime Essential Oil and shake again. It is now ready to serve in sugar or salt rimmed glasses!
**If you are using the Lime Juice and Tequila, don't add it until right before you serve this snack otherwise it may get soggy. **
Shake up your next party with Margarita Party Mix!
Enjoy!
{Oops........we had way too much Margarita Chex Mix!} ha ha

I especially like the flexibility of offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions, because it makes the snack Retro Bowl accessible to different audiences—adults who want the tequila flavor and guests who prefer something alcohol-free.
No querÃa algo complicado.
