Hosting a Friendsgiving Thanksgiving Celebration this year? Then follow along with me, as I share some Fall ideas and inspiration.

I celebrated Friendsgiving for several years, especially back when I was in college. But since having my own family, we haven't celebrated Friendsgiving Thanksgiving as often. However, I love the idea of getting together with friends to celebrate, even if it is the weekend prior to the actual holiday.

I love to entertain and use different textures, so when I teamed up with Kate Aspen, for our Friendsgiving Thanksgiving Celebration, it was the perfect excuse to pull out my copper table top items. I am loving all the metallics the last year has brought to our lives. Whether you use only one metallic or mix them, they are all gorgeous!

I immediately fell in love with these copper and concrete bud vases and geometric tealight holders from Kate Aspen! They were so perfect for this table. Instead of a tea light, I opted for a votive in the rich copper orange color to tie in with the other copper tones.

For the place settings, I used beautiful copper chargers with elegant black plates. I love how the copper maple leaf napkin ring looks against the black cloth napkin. Each place setting has their own candle in case we decide to dim the lights later in the evening. The hammered copper mule mugs are the perfect addition to the fur and elegance of this table.

I kept the centerpieces to a minimum and low lying for conversation sake. Nothing worse than trying to talk to your friend across the table only to dodge and duck under the beautiful centerpieces.

I try to always appeal to the five senses {taste, smell, sight, hear and touch} when setting my table for friends and family. Play music in the background, prepare delicious appetizers to please the palate, light some candles or have fragrant flowers in the area, set a beautiful table and add textures to it for dimension and appeal to the touch sense. You always want your celebration to be memorable, if you appeal to the five senses you will do just that ~ make it memorable!

I hope you have a very memorable Friendsgiving Thanksgiving full of gratitude, laughter and good times. My hope is to always inspire you!
