Whether you are hosting a bridal shower brunch or a brunch with friends, our Let's Brunch sign will be perfect! To celebrate the wedding season and summer, we are showing you how to create your own Let's Brunch sign with our Cricut Explore Air 2.

If you don't own a Cricut Explore Air 2, by the end of this post you will want one and guess what? We are giving one away!! Oh yes we are! More on that opportunity later.

My Cricut Explore Air 2 and vinyl can help take a project from ordinary to extraordinary! Just think about the possibilities. Before you host your next brunch, create one of these signs and be the talk of the party!

What You Will Need:

Step 1:

Spray paint your frame gold with Rustoluem Metallic Gold spray paint.

Step 2:

Open Cricut Design Space and a new project. Type out Let's Brunch. I used the sweetheart script font for the wording. However, you can choose whichever font you like best.

Step 3:

Size your font in Cricut Design Space. I sized the "Let's" to 5.82"x 3.59" and the "Brunch" to 7.35" x 2.97". I had to ungroup the letters and space them so they overlapped. Next I had to weld the letters together to make one continuous word.

Step 4:

Place your glitter vinyl on your cutting mat and using the paper guides, load it into the Cricut Explore Air 2 machine. Now you are ready to cut your words.

Step 5:

Now that your image is cut, you will need to weed out the excess vinyl you don't need. You will use the weeding tool to help you do this.

Step 6:

Remove the liner from the transfer tape, with the adhesive side down, gently place it over the wording. Transfer tape is a medium to get the words {or image} from one place to another. Using the scrapper from your tool kit, rub the tape onto the vinyl. At a 45 degree angle, peel the vinyl away from the liner. If the vinyl sticks, simply rub the tape on the vinyl again.

Step 7:

To apply your words on the glass of the frame, carefully place the transfer tape with the words onto the glass. Making sure your words are straight. Starting in the center, moving out towards the ends, gently rub the wording onto the glass and peel away.

Step 8:

Place the glass into the frame! You now have your own Let's Brunch sign you can use again and again!
