April 2012 | BellaGrey Designs
Before I started BellaGrey Designs, I was an avid scrapbooker!! I'd attend Friday night scrapbooking parties and participated in several scrapbook clubs! So when I was contacted to review My Memories Suite, I was excited to see what was new in the scrapbooking world. I was one of those scrapbookers who did everything with "real" paper and embellishments. I was unsure I really wanted to do all my scrapbooking on the computer, so when I tried My Memories Suite for the first time, I was amazed at how easy it really was and before I knew it, I had spent close to an hour just playing around with it. There is so much you can do with this scrapbooking software ~ scrapbook pages, calendars, cards, videos ~ the list is endless. You can even add music to your creations ~ how great is that!!

With this new scrapbooking software, I may actually be able to start scrapbooking again!! That makes me do the happy dance! I created this super cute scrapbook page calendar! I LOVE IT!!!

If you'd like to purchase My Memories Suite version 3 Scrapbook software, you can get a $10.00 discount off the purchase through MyMemories as well as a $10.00 coupon for the MyMemories.com store ~ A $20.00 value! All you have to do is copy and paste this code: STMMMS69419

I'm sure I'm like most moms out there trying to find the best food items for their kiddos. I tackled the never ending question this weekend when I went grocery shopping {a two hour process ~ that I dread}, "what did you buy?"  I always try to find some fun way for the kiddo to enjoy their meals a little more.

Well a few months ago, I spotted these fun milk flavoring straws at the store and thought, "hmmm, those might be fun for the kiddos to drink their milk in the morning!" So I checked to make sure they were peanut/nut free ~ as both of my kiddos have a severe allergic reaction to nuts. We were good to go ~ NUT FREE!!!

So basically, all you have to do is open the package and insert the straw, which contains mini chocolate beads, into a open glass of milk! {you know whats coming next........}

We were doing fine until the little dude decided to start blowing bubbles with his milk and T H E R E went his cup ~ tipping over, as in slow motion as I was across the kitchen!! All over his breakfast, all over his sister's breakfast........UGH!!! All over the table and floor! And of course we are running late too!!

Anyway back to my story about these straws ~ angel girl LOVED them, the little dude not so much!! All you have to do is sip the milk through the straw and PRESTO!!! Your white milk turns into chocolate milk ~  Just Like That!!

I can see these going in our snack bag as we travel ~ a fun and oh so easy way to have chocolate milk on the run!!!

 I thought I'd share my experience with these ~ have you tried them or do you plan on doing so? I'd love to hear your stories!

Have a Super Great and Creative Day!!

Do you remember our Trash Bash feature over on Hostess with the Mostess, last month? Read the full post here if you missed it!! Since that feature,we've had so many requests for our Trash Truck party favor trash cans, that we've decided to offer you a tutorial! I looked online for several months {6 to be exact} to find that "perfect" mini trash can that wasn't $3 or more per can!! To my surprise, I was unable to find any much cheaper than that. I needed at least dozen or so and I wasn't willing to pay that price. So in my search of other items for the party, I stopped in my favorite Dollar Tree and cruised each and every isle, like I normally do when in search of something fabulous!! I came across these great lime green rubber coozies, that I just knew with a little spray paint, I could turn these........

{before ~ lime green coozies}

Into these...................

Beautiful mini inexpensive trash can party favors!! I used Rust-oleum Painters Touch Ultra Cover in Metallic Aluminum! I needed to make these coozies a little more sturdy as well as cover the large hole in the bottom of them ~ so I placed a clear drinking cup inside {you can see the rim of the cups in the first photo}. And I spray painted them! They came out super cute and all the kiddos LOVED them! I used a mini bag {the doggie poop bags} for the trash bags ~ they were the perfect size & I just trimmed the tops! The mini bags had a scent to them so I placed all the kiddos treats in a sandwich bag before putting them into the party favors!

Add our Trash Truck party favor tags to get the finished look!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!! Let us know if we can help you any further in your search of the "perfect" mini trash can for your next Trash Bash!!

Good Morning!!
I can't believe we just celebrated Easter this past Sunday and now we are looking forward to Mother's Day ~ don't forget May 13th!! Only 4 1/2 weeks away ~ what are you getting your mom? I haven't decided what I'm getting my mom or my mother-in-law, yet!! But I do know, I'll be adding our new Mini Mother's Day Collection to whatever gifts I do purchase!!
I do love the quatrefoil pattern and have for some time now and thought it would be a great pattern for Mother's Day ~ what do you think?

I really like this color combination ~ turquoise and hot pink!

This mini collection includes:
Cupcake Toppers
3"x3" Note Cards

***It's on sale NOW***

If you're hosting a Tea for Mother's Day, you may want to try our Vintage Mother's Day Collection from last year ~ it's soft colors of grey and light pink with a Peony image are nice for a softer more vintage fete.

Have a Super Great Day!!!
